Biafra 2016: IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who was arrested in October 2015, is being tried by the Federal Government for alleged treasonable felony got very angry in the court yesterday and started shouting on top of his voice at the judges for their rulling concerning witness protection in his case.

According to the Judge who presided on the case, Judge Binta Nyako, all witnesses who are to testify in the case concerning the Ipob leader Nnamdi Kanu will be given military protection when the trial for the treasonable offence commences.

Justice Nyako said that  the witnesses will be brought in to the court and taken out of the court in a secret manner although She added that it is not a secret trial.

This was what she said:

“It is not going to be a secret trial. The court will allow the defendants see the witnesses. The defendant counsel will also see the witnesses,”

This decision however did not go well with the Ipob leader Nnamdi Kanu who flared up immediately and started shouting in the court.

On seeing this, Justice Binta had to caution him.

“If you don’t stop talking in my court I will assume you are becoming a nuisance in my court. And if I assume so, I will continue this trial in your absence, so do not try my patience. When you are in my court you will do what I want. It’s like having a visitor in your house; you can serve the visitor food but if he wants to eat he will eat and if he doesn’t want to, he will not.”
Nnamdi Kanu who was already angry at this point continued shouting:

"I will address this court! You cannot be killing my people and tell me that you will make me have a secret trial. That won’t happen! The president can intimidate the judges, but he cannot do that to me. Tell him he has lied,”he said

Sources reveals that the decision by the judge to provide witness protection for all witnesses concerning the case was insighted by the Federal government in a bid to sabotage the confessions these witnesses would give. This sources reveal is a bid to change or influence the confessions to suit what the federal Government want, and that is to continue oppressing the people of Biafra.

Justice should prevail. To Biafrans: Pray hard, because alot is at stake here. I support whosoever is the best solution, so long as our human rights are respected and required amenities are provided for the citizens to succeed. I wish Nnamdi Kanu the best in this pursuit as i will also pray for him before going to bed today!! One Nigeria!! One Biafra!! You know the one you want, go get it.
