7 seven Bakassi Fighters killed by Nigerian millitary on independence day (photo)

7 Seven Bakassi strike force members were killed by the Nigerian Military troops of the 13th Brigade and operation Delta Safe. The Bakassi force reportedly attacked the military troops position.They were led by a most wanted Criminal Benjamin Ene Alias G1 who was also killed alongside the other six attackers.

The Bakassi fighters attacked the troops position forcing the military to repel the attack killing seven of the bakassi fighters at the spot. Some of the Bakassi fighters were reported to be wearing the Nigerian Military Camouflage which initially startled the troops but was not effect anymor when the troops retaliated. Seven of the Bakassi boys were killed while others escaped with bullwt wounds. No casualty was recorded on the military side.
